The Emergency County Hospital of Miercurea Ciuc is an emergency hospital offering inpatient and outpatient health care services. It is a subordinate institution of Harghita County Council and its functioning is based on the provisions of Law no. 95/2006. Our hospital offers a wide range of medical services for the town of Miercurea Ciuc, Harghita County and for the neighboring counties.

Our activities are performed in five different premises around the town. The main building houses the majority of our medical departments. The hospital runs an Emergency Care Unit, attending more than 25,000 patients per year. The Health Center of Vlăhița is also part of our institution.

In recent years, the number of doctors has been steadily increasing and new specialties have been emerging in our hospital. Along with doctors, trained medical staff provide health care services for the patients. Furthermore, the functioning of our institution is helped by additional support staff, as well as technical, economic and administrative staff. The hospital is managed by the Board of Directors, whose members are the hospital manager, medical director, finance and accounting director and director of nursing.

We place great emphasis on ensuring that our inpatient and outpatient health care services are provided with modern and quality equipment, therefore the range of medical devices is being improved constantly.

Our goal is to provide prime quality, patient-centered health care services, as reflected in our motto: “Quality above all”.
